Randy Hale, owner of Hale & Hearty, Inc., began his production career building scenery for The Dolly Parton Show, Hee Haw, Marty Robbins, and others circa 1977. From there, he transitioned into producing, directing, shooting, and editing projects for various clients.

Randy’s expertise is often called upon for commercials, news magazine shows, reality shows, and special music projects. In the last few years he has worked in various capacities on projects that include PBS Great Performances, Flip or Flop Nashville, House Hunters, ESPN, Dateline, Getty, HGTV, NASCAR, CMT, ABC News, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Inside Edition, SESAC, Sony, the NFL, Nightline, Comedy Central, Tennessee Titans, CMA Awards, 20/20, Nissan, Cigna, Good Morning America, Bluegrass Underground, Music City Roots, a documentary filmed in Jamaica that’s not yet been released, and several recent pilots.

Shooting film since 1975 and getting the first Avid (system 84) in 1993, he continues to split his time between cinematography and editing.

Randy Hale is a true filmmaker, an owner/operator who’s worked around the globe, and knows all aspects of the industry, from pre-production through post-production.  With a keen business sense, marketing instincts, and creativity, he helps ensure success for any project in which he becomes involved.

Hale & Hearty, Inc. is a full video production support company, with experienced crews and the best equipment. And we are licensed and insured to capture aerial footage with drones.

Interviews can also be shot using zoom to allow the producers to see the exact shot from our camera or cameras and to allow the interviewee to look just off camera to the producer/director.
